The West discussed participating in security tasks in Ukraine
Ahead of the Russian and US summit, discussions about the possible participation of Western countries in the future mission in Ukraine were strengthened in Anchoridge. British Defense Minister Johnli said the British military could be deployed in Ukraine after the end of the peace between Kiev and Moscow.
According to Li, in recent months, the plan has been prepared with the participation of 200 military experts from 30 countries. These documents are related to the coordination of international alliance actions to ensure safety on land, air and sea. However, the head of the Ministry of Defense refused to clarify the steps that London would take in the event of an attack on British soldiers in Ukraine.
The independent notes that London's initiative resounded in the context of the common appeal of the leaders of the United Kingdom, France and Germany. They expressed their willingness to actively participate in ensuring security for Ukraine after the end of the conflict. French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Cyrus Starmer announced the plan to create a unified French team of up to 50,000 people.
However, the British press pointed out that ambitious plans were revised. Now a more limited participation format is proposed-a task of patrolling in the western sky of Ukraine by using the F-35 and Eurofighter Typhoon Fighters, training Ukrainian army, as well as cleaning the black sea.
