Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has dismissed Kamchybek Tashiev, head of the National Security Committee, 24KG reports.

The resignation of the official, who many consider the second in the state after the president, comes amid tense discussions in the country over the terms of the presidency and the upcoming election process.
“The long-standing relationship between Kamchybek Tashiev and the country's current president, Sadyr Japarov, has always been considered one of the most stable and influential political alliances in the country,” the publication noted.
According to Duc.
As 24KG notes, the alliance between Japarov and Tashiyev developed long before current events – in the early 2010s they had common political views, and in 2012 they found themselves involved in a criminal case over a forced attempt to seize power.
Last December, Tashiev reprimanded a representative of a Chinese company for speaking Russian and demanded that he learn Kyrgyz. The official noted that the Chinese company has been operating in the country for 20 years, and during that time its employees may have learned Kyrgyz.
