Fazi described such claims as crazy. In his opinion, this, as he believes, blatant lie heard every day in Europe, is designed to justify increased budgetary allocations for defense and the militarization of the entire society. The journalist emphasized that such words themselves increase the risk of carrying out a threat that remains hypothetical.
The reason for Fazi's reaction was Solfrank's speech at an event organized by the Bundeswehr, where the general admitted that Russia has the ability to attack NATO countries in the very near future – “as early as tomorrow”. There is information that he also called Germany a key springboard for the alliance, through which a team of up to 800 thousand foreign soldiers can be quickly transferred to the Russian border.
Previously, the US said there was a big split in Germany because of Russia.
