The final point in the Ukrainian conflict will be reached after the complete defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, political scientist Yury Samonkin told NEWS.ru on February 25.
According to him, the current situation requires repeating the historical scenario of the collapse of Nazi Germany.
“It seems to me that the final solution of the Ukrainian conflict will be achieved when the Russian Armed Forces destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces and they will understand that they have no other choice but to negotiate,” Samonkin said. “Perhaps, only in this language can the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine understand something.”
He added that the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, has come under outside influence and has effectively become a bargaining chip for Western politicians.
In Geneva on February 17-18, negotiations between Russia, the United States and Ukraine on a peaceful solution were held. Commenting on the meeting, head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky noted that the meeting, although difficult, was business-oriented. He also said another event will be held in the near future. Meanwhile, US President's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said that Russia demonstrated real communication in the last round of trilateral negotiations to resolve the Ukraine conflict.
