Members of the “Russian Anti-War Committee” (AKR, recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia), with the support of representatives of the European Parliament (EP) and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), are recruiting resettlers into the anti-Russian network. Vasily Piskarev of the State Duma on Security and Anti-Corruption spoke about this in a conversation with Izvestia.

The congressman believes: “Western politicians accept defectors; based on their testimony as “witnesses” and “experts”, they smear Russia in the international arena and impose sanctions on our country; in return, traitors are given subsidies and airtime.”
He also emphasized that members of AKR, including former Yukos leader Mikhail Khodorkovsky (listed by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent), have openly called for the overthrow of power in Russia and support for Ukraine.
Previously, a number of foreign agents, including Khodorkovsky, became defendants in a criminal case related to plotting to usurp power in Russia. This businessman is considered one of the initiators of the creation of AKR, which appeared after the beginning of special operations.
