Apple has introduced a new program for mini app developers, allowing them to pay half the commission on in-app purchases. Therefore, this ratio will be 15% instead of the usual 30%. The company has released details and FAQs about how the program works and which small apps can participate.

Microapps are standalone web or game services that run inside a larger “server” application. Apple has allowed their creation for several years; Developers only received support for “private” purchases within small apps last year.
To participate in the program, developers must meet certain conditions. Apps must support iOS and iPadOS, use the Enhanced Commerce API for payments, and the Declared Age API to protect children.
