The developers of Battlefield 6 talked about the operation of the Javelin anti-cheat system and the results of December. In just one month, it prevented more than 580 thousand fraud attempts.
One of the key metrics Javelin uses is Match Infection Rate. The system counts all matches that could be affected by cheaters. Even if the evidence is not enough.
The shooter's authors note that they have identified 224 cheat-related programs, as well as related hardware solutions, vendors, resellers, and communities. Many of them have stopped working.
The developers also admitted that they did not adequately inform the community about their anti-cheat work. One mention per month is not enough, so they will try to talk more often about what is happening in the fight against scammers.
It was previously known that Battlefield 6 sales brought Electronic Arts record revenue for the quarter. According to EA's report, Battlefield 6 “became the best-selling shooter of 2025, setting a new record for engagement.”
A day earlier, the shooter received an update that fixed cumulative problems, and the second season after the transfer will begin on February 17.
