In Battlefield 6, players have access to nearly 50 unique weapons, from assault rifles to submachine guns and shotguns, and they can be used regardless of class (in open playlists). PC Gamer Portal speak about the best weapons that deserve attention.

M4a1
The carbine, now at rank 2, is one of the best weapons in the entire game thanks to its high rate of fire and solid damage. Furthermore, the M4A1 retains its advantages even at long distances: the adapter and vertical handle absorb most of the recoil without significantly reducing accuracy. The total is the firepower and mobility of an SMG with the range of an assault rifle.
M871A1
The assassin pistol from the beta version is no worse than in the release version, even with the nerf. The M871A1 reliably kills with one hit at close range, and at long distances you can use bullet shells. The Shotgun itself is good since many of the maps in BF6 are relatively small, but it really shines as an Assault weapon. Their signature loadout allows them to carry two primary weapons at once – you can carry both a rifle and a shotgun.
PW7A2
The PW7A2 is a very strange submachine gun. In terms of fire rate, it is even faster than the M4A1, so one would think that it would have similar recoil. But no – in fact, this is one of the most precise and controlled weapons in the game. Although the damage of the shots is low, the accuracy and incredible rate of fire allow you to eliminate opponents in seconds at much greater distances than you expected.
DRS-IAR
The DRS-IAR is a light machine gun, more similar to a large assault rifle. Ergonomics are quite superior for this one, and the magazine capacity of only 30 rounds blurs the lines between weapon types, but this only benefits the DRS-IAR. It combines the firepower of a machine gun with the convenience of lighter weapons, making it well-suited for gunfights in tight spaces.
M277
The carbine, unlocked at level 11, almost perfectly combines the advantages of an SMG and an assault rifle. It deals great damage but has higher recoil than the M4A1 with a smaller magazine capacity. If desired, these defects can be corrected using a muzzle brake, a vertical handle and a laser.
SG 553R
With damage on par with other assault rifles, better mobility and a fairly high rate of fire, the SG 553R is capable of dealing a lot of damage at long range. Furthermore, it was originally designed for medium distances, which is good – the rifle doesn't sacrifice too much accuracy or recoil control. Additionally, both parameters can be improved with accessories. The only problem is that SG 553R is unlocked as a reward for achieving it long enough.
