On November 17, all those nominated for Game awards 2025 – a major gaming award for journalist Geoff Keeley. The main event of the announcement is the number of nominations for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – the French action game that could win 12 awards at once, including the statuette for “Game of the Year”.
This is an absolute record for The Game Awards, which was previously held by The Last of Us Part 2. The game from studio Naughty Dog received 11 nominations in 2020, winning in seven categories. “Expedition 33” developers from Sandfall studio have Thanks fans and organizers were supportive and expressed that they did not expect to see their game name so many times.
