The adventure Rainbow Billy: The Book of Fears has been announced, which will be a sequel to Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan.
In the new game, gamers will take on the role of an adult protagonist, facing his doubts and fears and diving into a world where emotions are more important than actions. Along the way, Billy will meet Scarecrows – creatures made of unresolved worries and emotions. The important thing is not to beat your opponents but to understand what makes them that way.
The developers describe the game as “a melancholy, contemplative coming-of-age story about learning to name your fears and realizing that admitting them is the bravest thing you can do.” They promise narrative-driven gameplay, a leisurely pace, and significant differences from the first game.
Rainbow Billy: The Book of Fears is expected to release on PC in 2026. Unfortunately, the game will not be available in Russian.
