A conflict is brewing in the online community surrounding the famous Skibidi Toilet brand. The project's creator, Alexey Gerasimov, known as DaFuqBoom, allegedly lost control of the creative and financial aspects of his brand, PlayGround reported.
According to leaked correspondence from Discord published by content producer EliteBlueGuy, conflict arose between Gerasimov and the Invisible Narrative studio led by Adam Goodman and Michael Bay. In 2024, the Russians signed a contract for space development, including feature films.
However, Gerasimov was not involved in key stages of production: the script and artistic ideas were said to be inaccessible to him, discussions were conducted only in “opaque format over the phone”. The project's main YouTube channel is said to be completely under the studio's control.
The financial aspect of the project receives special attention. In correspondence, Gerasimov noted that he did not receive payment for viral content with hundreds of millions of views, describing his situation as “almost broken” and feeling betrayed.
Alexey Gerasimov and representatives of Invisible Stories did not officially comment on the situation.
