After the winter lull, February will be busy with notable game releases – from indie projects to games from mid-sized studios and true blockbusters. We'll tell you what you can play in February on PC and consoles.

February 5 — Threat
The authors of the hit strategy game Battle Brothers are about to launch their next project – the sci-fi strategy game Menace. Players will lead a team of elite peacekeepers traveling across space systems, fighting pirates and responding to distress signals from alien planets. The project promises large-scale battles involving vehicles, a deep unit leveling system, and huge transformation possibilities – the game is definitely inspired by the old X-COM series.
February 5 – Dragon Quest VII reimagined
The flywheel of remakes has reached Dragon Quest VII. In the seventh installment of the legendary JRPG series, players will travel across the archipelago to save a small island nation from impending darkness. In addition to updated graphics that closely resemble the style of franchise artist Akira Toriyama, Reimagined will also update the mechanics to ensure that the game will appeal to both series veterans and those new to Dragon Quest.
February 6 – Nioh 3
After the questionable Wo-Long and Rise of the Ronin, it seems that studio Team Ninja intends to regain the trust of fans and try something new. Nioh 3 will significantly change familiar mechanics from previous parts of the action film: for example, players will be able to switch between two forms – samurai and ninja. The first type has access to fighting stances and heavy weapons, as in the first Nioh, while the second type has agile dodges, aerial combos, and a whole arsenal of ninjutsu. And the game's events will take place in several eras of Japanese history, each with its own little open world.
February 10 – Mewgenics
Mewgenics is a long-term project from indie game development legend Edmund McMillen, creator of Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac. In the story, players will command an army of mutant hellish cats, each with their own advantages, disadvantages, and skills. And you have to breed stronger cats by playing the “gene lottery” – otherwise you won't be able to defeat the bosses.
February 11 – Romeo Is Dead
Suda51 and his Grasshopper Manufacturing studio will release Romeo Is a Dead Man – a crazy action game in the best traditions of one of Japan's most eccentric developers. Romeo, a robot belonging to the FBI's space-time police department, roams space searching for criminals lurking in the far corners of the universe, while also searching for Juliet, his doomed lover.
February 12 – Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties
Yakuza fans have long been asking for a third installment – and SEGA has listened. Yakuza Kiwami 3 will follow the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu in sunny Okinawa, where he arrives after the events of the first two Yakuza to take care of the wards of his hometown orphanage. But Yakuza Kiwami 3 will also include brand new content: the Dark Ties mini-dLC, focusing on the game's villain.
February 13 – Joy of life 2
The sequel to the action comedy High on Life will be released without the participation of Justin Roiland, but will retain the main feature of the original game – guns that constantly roar and throw jokes of varying degrees of quality. And now players will be able to shoot at aliens while riding a futuristic skateboard.
February 13 – Reanimal
Little Nightmares fans, disappointed with the third part, are in for a treat – the writers of the original film are releasing Reanimal, the spiritual successor to the series. As in previous games from studio Tarsier, players will try to play as children who find themselves in a dark, hostile world where the only way to escape enemies is to run away. Reanimal will retain Little Nightmares' signature visual and gameplay style, combining stealth with puzzles and tense chases.
February 19 – Styx: Blades of Greed
After many years of silence, the goblin Styx is back in action! Styx: Blades of Greed is the sequel to the hit stealth action games Master of Shadows and Shards of Darkness. If in previous games the cunning goblin was involved in various plots, then this time he will have to do what he knows best: rob the arrogant Inquisition, maneuvering in the conflict between humans, elves and orcs.
27 tháng 2 – Resident Evil Requiem
Finally, the biggest release of the month – and one of the most anticipated games of 2026. Resident Evil Requiem will tell the story of two characters at once: FBI analyst Grace, who finds herself caught in a web of intrigue typical for the series, and Leon Kennedy, aged after the events of Resident Evil 2, 4 and 6, but still cool. Furthermore, the gameplay of both will be significantly different. Grace will have to hide from the infected more often and solve problems with cunning, while Leon uses a battle ax and easily destroys hordes of zombies at once.
