The memory market is experiencing a severe shortage. PC Guide writes that the shortage of GDDR7 modules has slowed down the preparation of the updated NVIDIA line – RTX 50XX Super.

According to sources, the card may not be issued until the third quarter of 2026 or may be canceled completely.
DRAM and NAND manufacturers are so overloaded with orders from data centers building infrastructure for AI that there is almost no space left for gaming video cards.
Experts warn that memory shortages have caused prices to rise sharply, which will also affect new video cards: even the launch of the Super series is unlikely to be cheaper than current models.
Analysts believe that NVIDIA may focus its limited GDDR7 on professional laptop and accelerator versions, and gamers will have to be satisfied with the current line until 2026.
