Minecraft has mods for every occasion, including those who want something scary before Halloween. PC Gamer Portal shared The best horror mods for Minecraft will turn a cute sandbox into a horror movie.

Scape and Run: Parasite
Scape and Run: Parasites is a mod for those who want to add more than one scary mob to the game. It includes a whole zoo of nasty monsters, from cursed pigs to zombie villagers, giant spiders and other otherworldly horrors. New mobs can appear anywhere, not just at night, because they are not afraid of sunlight. Before installation, a secure base should be constructed.
The man from the fog
A guaranteed way to make regular Minecraft more annoying. The Man from the Fog mod adds a new monster – a tall creature with a giant mouth and fangs that appears every night. It observes the player from afar and gradually approaches unless chased away. You won't be able to escape the monster in the fog, so you'll have to get used to a life of constant surveillance. If you look at it, it will disappear like an enderman or immediately become aggressive.
Legend of Herobrin
In the early days of Minecraft, Herobrine was the hero of the game's most famous horror stories. The urban legend begins with a player telling a story about encountering a character who looks exactly like the standard avatar but has white eyes. Gradually, Herobrine became a real folklore character among Minecraft fans and many modders tried to bring him to life. The Legend of Herobrine is one such mod.
Imitator
The monster that The Mimicer mod added looks really scary. It closely resembles the standard player model, but has long limbs and a large mouth full of teeth. If the player is unlucky enough to encounter a mimic, he will chase him or try to lure him into a trap by imitating the sounds of other mobs. The good news is that he spawns mainly in caves and likes to stick to dark areas.
Siren Head: Appearance
Finally, if one Creeppepasta hero isn't enough for you, Siren Head: The Arrival can add Siren Head to Minecraft. And, unlike other monsters, you cannot drive him away with weapons: you can only run away from him or hide. Since the mobs damage structures, you won't be able to hide inside the wooden base – you'll have to run into the mountains or underground.
