The Entertainment Software Developers Association (ESA) published a report according to which 48% of all gamers in the world are women.

It is important to note that the survey was conducted among residents of 21 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, as well as North and South America. More than 24 thousand people over 16 years old participated in it.
According to analysts, in 10 countries, Heimers are even more numerous than men, and in Brazil and among residents of South Africa the ratio is 50 to 50. Most women prefer to play on mobile devices, but the gap with men in this indicator is not very large. Additionally, the proportion of mobile gamers among those surveyed was generally greater than those using PCs or consoles.
Most often, respondents said that they played to relieve stress, activate brain activity or simply distract from everyday problems.
