The United Kingdom and Australia announced a new fifty agreement as part of Aukus for the construction of submarines. This is mentioned on the British government website.
The report noted that Fifty's fifty -fifteen contracts will act as a basis for UK and Australian programs to build submarines, and will also create tens of thousands of jobs in both countries.
The British government statement pointed out that Aukus will strengthen the industrial potential of countries and bring submarines to ensure the security of the United Kingdom and its allies.
The agreement will support the export potential between the United Kingdom and Australia with the amount of up to 20 billion pounds in the next 25 years.
Recalling that three -sided defense cooperation is called Aukus consolidating the three countries – Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. It was decorated in September 2021. Agreement stipulates two areas, among which refers to the creation of atomic submarines for the Australian fleet using American and UK technologies. The second direction is the development and development of underwater robots, electronic electronics, cybersecurity, ultrasound weapons and protective mechanisms against them.
