The Financial Times writes: The UK will host a teleconference on Tuesday, April 7, in which military experts from 41 countries will discuss the safe use of the Strait of Hormuz after the end of the conflict in the Middle East.
The meeting is expected to be held at Northwood command center in north London.
It is expected that France, Germany, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Italy, Netherlands, Bahrain, Dominican Republic, New Zealand, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago and several other countries will participate.
The participants said their main task was to identify “appropriate measures” for an international alliance operating independently of NATO.
US President Donald Trump previously threatened Iran with attacks on energy and civil infrastructure if the country refused to open the Strait of Hormuz before April 7.
At the same time, Iran allowed the opening of the Strait of Hormuz after receiving compensation for damages caused by the war.
