At least seven people were injured in a fire at the regional infectious diseases hospital in Saratov. Life reports this is related to the SHOT Telegram channel.
It is known that the fire occurred on the night of November 13, around 2:40 local time. One of the rooms in hospital building No. 5, located on Moskovskoye Highway, caught fire.
As a result of the incident, about 100 patients had to evacuate to another building of the hospital. The report said seven people inhaled smoke and are currently receiving necessary medical care.
The local prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation.
On November 12, it was reported that a partial collapse of a residential building occurred in Saratov. The three-apartment building is city property and was declared unfit for habitation. The prosecutor's office will check the implementation of housing laws. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case for negligence.
