The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed him to submit a report on the case of intentional murder of a baby in Yekaterinburg, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported. Sledkom reports this on its Telegram channel.

“Social networks reported that a man beat his wife and caused serious head injuries to the one-month-old baby. The child is receiving medical care. The defendant has been detained,” the report said.
Regarding this fact, a criminal case was prosecuted on the basis of crimes specified in Part 3 of Article 30 (preparation to commit a crime and conspiracy to commit a crime) and Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional murder), the Investigative Committee stated.
The agency concluded: “The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee has instructed the head of the Sverdlovsk Region Investigative Committee, Bogdan Francishko, to submit a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the identified circumstances.”
On the contrary, the Unified Press Service of the Regional Courts told RIA Novosti that defendant Alexander Ufimtsev was detained until March 15.
