The Nuremberg mayor's office said about 21,000 people had to leave their homes after discovering a bomb from World War II.

The evacuation took place before a planned bomb disposal operation. To achieve this, the city government announced the closure of roads within a radius of 800 meters.
In Germany, 20 thousand people were evacuated due to three bombs
City authorities noted that projectiles weighing about 450 kg were found during construction in the Grossreuth area. The operation to neutralize it will begin as soon as the authorities evacuate all residents of nearby houses in the closed area.
By the way, the city authorities dispatched nearly 500 firefighters, 350 doctors, 60 employees of the technical support department (equivalent to the German Ministry of Emergency Situations) and more than 100 police officers to the scene.
Previously in Germany, they said that Ukrainians were not welcome in the country.
