In Istra, near Moscow, an apartment was almost burned down because of two curious cats. This is reported by 360.ru.
The incident occurred on the street of the 9th Guards. Residents of the neighboring building noticed smoke through the window of one of the apartments and called the fire department. Inside there was thick smoke, household appliances caught fire in the kitchen, the fire was extinguished with improvised means.
According to the apartment owner, the cause of the fire may have been caused by her two cats. The animals were chasing each other around the apartment and accidentally turned on the toaster.
Previously, in Novosibirsk, a dog turned on the stove and exploded a can of dichlorvos. The box heats up and depressurizes. The shock wave knocked out the front door, damaging the glass of the interior door and balcony door as well as the stove. The fire damaged wallpaper and part of the kitchen furniture in the area. The pet was not injured – the dog hid on the balcony.
