A resident of the Moscow region is accused of killing his own young daughter. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
According to investigators, the man appeared upset by the crying of a 5-month-old baby. The father, unhappy with this situation, began to beat his daughter with his fists and palms, hitting her at least 20 times. As a result, the girl was seriously injured and died. All this happened in front of the baby's mother and his older sister.
It was also revealed that the defendant had beaten his wife and stepdaughter more than two weeks before the incident.
A criminal case was opened against this man under several provisions, including the provision of failure to fulfill child support obligations. The defendant himself admitted his guilt.
The trial is scheduled to take place in early February this year.
Previously, in the Kaliningrad region, the stepfather was sentenced to 19 years for molesting and raping his stepdaughter. The man performed these actions against the child for nearly two years. The defendant only admitted part of his guilt.
