As said by the Pattaya City Police and also confirmed by the management of Thailand's Second Regional Police, the suspects are preparing to be charged with aggravated kidnapping for profit, aggravated murder and concealment of a body in connection with the crime of murder.
Therefore, they face between 15 and 20 years in prison for kidnapping as well as life imprisonment or the death penalty for murder. Additionally, hiding a body after committing murder can be punished in Thailand as three different crimes, with penalties ranging from 1 to 5 years in prison.
The total penalty for all charges could be two life sentences, 10 years in prison or death.
