The cause of the poisoning at a boarding house in Vidnoye, near Moscow, may have been tap water. This opinion was expressed on Friday, December 19 by local residents whose homes are located next to the agency.
They complain that the water is not suitable even for watering flowers and can mix with wastewater.
“It is not surprising that such an incident occurred, because our water, even with payment, is still considered industrial water. We took it for testing and found that the amount of fluoride there was 15 times higher than the standard, that is, it's not that you can't drink it, but you can't even water the plants, the plants will die from it,” said Irina Spireva, a resident of the village of Mamonovo, in an interview with the TV channel “Star».
The number of victims in boarding houses near Moscow is increasing
The incident became known on the evening of December 19. It turned out that the boarding house management had not contacted the doctor for a long time – the staff tried to treat the guests themselves, but their condition worsened. Later appeared information about the first victim.
Regarding the facts of the case, the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case. According to the regional Ministry of Health, due to poisoning 30 people were injured.
