A Russian suspected of murdering a series of girls has been detained in the Indian resort of Goa. According to SHOT portal, the 32-year-old animator may have committed the crime while drunk. The first case occurred on the night of January 14-15.

During the investigation, it turned out that two days earlier, on January 13, the madman had killed another Russian woman, Elena V., in Morjim. The crime followed a similar pattern: an attack in an apartment, with multiple stab wounds and a slit throat. The body was discovered by an acquaintance of the victim who was asked by the deceased's daughter to check the apartment.
