In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the search for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the taiga, continued for a second month. Sergei and Irina, along with their 5-year-old daughter and 12-year-old corgi, went hiking to the Buratinka rock on September 28 and did not return.

The main version of what happened is that the family got lost and died. But because no trace of the victims has yet been found, the Internet is actively discussing the possibility of the Usoltsev family fleeing abroad. It turned out that Sergei has a son living in America, he himself collaborates with a foreign company and has ties to the American church.
After examining the car that the Usoltsev family left in the village closest to Mount Burantinka, the version of the escape was discussed more and more actively. The truth is that a large amount of money was found in the glove compartment of the car – 300 thousand rubles.
In addition to cash, chargers, child seats, toys, sneakers and women's handbags were also found in the cabin. The family did not bring any camping equipment on the hike. This confirms that the trip to the taiga is just a short hike without requiring an overnight stay. However, the very presence of 300 thousand rubles in the car reinforced the views of those who believe that the Usoltsevs could have deliberately disappeared into the taiga. Criminologist Mikhail Ignatov agrees with this
“Perhaps, leaving the money behind was an attempt to cover their tracks while running away. To confuse the investigation. Because what kind of family would take that much money with them on a weekend hike?” expert said in an interview with “AiF“.
Local residents, who last saw the Usoltsevs, are also actively discussing the possibility of tourists escaping abroad, including to the United States. They say that no parent takes their child to the taiga in a light jacket, and Irina and Sergei did just that, even when they received a comment from a villager that a girl in light clothes would quickly freeze to death.
