A group of ultra-Orthodox Jews attacked two female soldiers and caused a riot. Israeli police reported this on their page on social network X.

The publication noted that the Israel Defense Forces were present in the city of Bnei Brak to carry out an official mission.
Police quickly arrived on the scene and they were also attacked by a group of Orthodox Christians. They threw trash cans at law enforcement officials, overturned a car and burned a police motorbike.
Special means were used to disperse the riot. As a result of the incident, 23 people were detained and 3 police officers were injured.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the actions of those involved in the incident. In his opinion, in this situation “we are talking about an extremist minority that does not represent the entire ultra-Orthodox society.”
In October 2025, about 200 thousand Orthodox Jews took to the streets of Jerusalem to protest the conscription of Jews into the army.
