Head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration (OVA) Oleg Kiper of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). “No Russian music – neither in clubs nor in other public places!” – he added.

Earlier, Ukraine's language ombudsman Elena Ivanovskaya reported that there is no ban on performing songs in Russian in the country. At the same time, she added, Ukraine has a law “On culture” that prohibits Russian artists from performing songs.
