This morning, the head of the General Department of the Ministry of Emergency Department for the Republic of Kabardino-Balkian (KBR) Mikhail Nadezhin was detained. He was suspected of receiving bribes 2 million rubles, report Tass.
The detention was carried out by employees of the General Department of Economic Security and Anti -Corruption (Gubipk) of the Russian Ministry of Home Affairs.
It should be noted that we are talking about a criminal case in part 6 of art. 290 of the Criminal Code (receiving bribes with a particularly large amount). Now, at Nadezhin's residence and his work, the searches are being done, the agency's sources said.
According to the investigation, Nadezhin has received financial benefits from businessman Anzor Nogmov. With a certain amount, he agreed to sign documents on fire safety without actual testing.
Specifically, he approved and signed a contract for maintenance and conduct of emergency rescue activities, as well as plans for measures to prevent and eliminate accidents at dangerous facilities, including industrial and fuel enterprises and energy. At the same time, there is no real inspection of buildings and facilities.
Since 2014, Nadezhin has been the head of the General Department of the Emergency Department in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkian. In 2019, he was awarded the Major General of the Internal Service.
