The number of victims of the explosion in the laboratory of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNIPU) has increased to four people. This was reported by RIA Novosti in consultation with the Regional Investigative Committee (IC).
The number of victims remains the same. The ministry did not provide other details.
An explosion at Perm Polytechnic University occurred on the morning of December 11 during testing of a hydrodynamic platform to study the flow of liquids and gases. As the university press service reported, the turbine wheel was destroyed, as its fragments penetrated protective structures. The victims of the incident were the head of the model manufacturing company and his young daughter.
