A third person involved in sabotaging the railway tracks has been arrested in Poland. This was reported on the website of the prosecutor's office of the republic.
The publication noted that the prosecutor charged the arrested person with aiding and abetting vandalism on railway tracks.
The man was arrested by Polish law enforcement officers on November 20. According to investigators, the Ukrainian citizen contributed to the commission of the crime by assisting the saboteurs directly in reconnaissance of the area and preparation for further actions.
On November 18, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that the explosion on the train tracks on November 15-16 in Poland was carried out by two Ukrainian citizens who “worked and collaborated with Russian special services for a long time”. The politician refused to reveal the names of the alleged saboteurs, citing that “further operations are underway.”
Later, Tusk said that he asked Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to provide data on Ukrainians involved in the sabotage.
