The court recognized the accident in February 2022 in the city of Krasnodar as a terrorist attack aimed at seizing weapons. This is reported in connection with court documents RIA Novosti.
According to the investigation, on February 28, 2022, Sergei Gurin, a resident of the Moscow region, driving a Mustang collided with two cars and hit a local police officer. The offender tried to flee but was overtaken and captured by the victim's colleagues. Later in his testimony, Gurin explained that he had intentionally knocked out the inspector.

The defendant explained that he took such a step because he did not agree with Russia's decision to conduct a special military operation (SVO) and his brother's participation in it. Eyewitness testimony also confirmed Gurin's words.
