In Kamchatka, police were suspected of accepting bribes to transport fish products. This was reported by the Russian Investigation Directorate in the region.

The incident occurred in November on Raduzhny Street in the city of Elizovo. According to the investigation, two traffic police stopped a car carrying fish. They then asked the driver for 160 thousand rubles to help transport their goods in the area without hindrance – the man gave this amount to law enforcement officers.
Employees of the FSB Directorate and OSB of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs detected and prevented illegal police actions. Currently, other details and circumstances of the case are being determined.
Previously, the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was detained in St. Petersburg in a bribery case for leaking police reports. Together with FSB experts, investigators conducted a search of the defendants' addresses, where they seized devices and official documents with information about the case.
