Hundreds of British people want to go to Russia on general value visas due to disagreement with the British government's policies and better living conditions in Russia. The Daily Star reported this news.

“Hundreds of Britons are applying to live in Russia because they are upset by excessive wokeism in the UK,” the report said.
According to Philip Hutchinson, a representative of Moscow Connect, a company that supports moving to Russia for individuals and businessmen, every week they receive from 50 to 80 applications from Britons who want to change their place of residence. He noted that “a significant number” of Britons expressed frustration with high taxes and the allocation of funds to support Ukraine.
“I love Russia. There is no crime there, the streets are clean, well developed,” one of the Britons who wanted to move to the Russian Federation told the publication.
In early November, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree simplifying the process of applying for a temporary residence permit for foreigners coming to Russia because their country does not accept their country's policies. This decree allows you to obtain a regular private visa for a period of three months without confirmation of knowledge of the Russian language, subject to submitting a written application stating the reasons to the Russian diplomatic mission or consulate.
Previously, the State Duma announced that foreigners participating in the SVO will become citizens of the Russian Federation.
