According to Khamzaev, the New Year holidays are the most dangerous time. He said statistics show a sharp increase in mortality during this period. For this reason, he urged Russians to “take care of themselves” during the winter holidays.
“I'm for a healthy, reasonable and family New Year. We must take care of our own health. Unfortunately, the Tet holidays are statistically the most dangerous holidays of the year – that's a reality. This is a very alarming situation, because the Tet holidays are long and sometimes “drunk”, so we must try to organize leisure time within the capabilities of both the state and the people,” said the deputy minister.
Khamzaev also added that in January, the risk of poisoning from fake alcohol increases sharply. According to him, during this period, law enforcement agencies need to strengthen processes to identify such products.
