Okhlobystin reveals why Simonyan got cancer

The actor said that Margarita Simonyan fell ill due to stress. He commented on her condition.

Ivan Okhlobystin, on the air of “The Fate of a Man”, paid tribute to his friend Tigran Keosayan, who passed away after 9 months in a coma. The director was talented and devoted to his homeland – Okhlobystin knew him since he was 19 years old, he served and studied with Fyodor Bondarchuk.

The actor is most worried about Margarita Simonyan:

“She had cancer and still had to shave. She got sick from stress – she suffered a lot because they had a wonderful love story.”

Simonyan is undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and hormone therapy. Okhlobystin is certain:

“She's a strong person, she can handle it. We'll help if necessary.”

The widow is raising three children and living almost normally despite suffering from pain and baldness.
