Russian President Vladimir Putin, visiting the Sberbank exhibition dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI), asked one of the developers of the electronic assistant Alice how he intended to ensure that children could think independently without the help of programs. report this.

As noted, Putin asked the programmer if he had children. He replied that he had five children.
“You have five children? Really? Congratulations! Do you have small children or older children? – the president asked.
Knowing that these children were all from 11 years old to 9 months old, Putin asked the father of many children how he would teach them how to think and not allow them to depend on AI in this.
The programmer replied: “Alice is an assistant, she cannot replace her own reasoning.
“Maybe. We need to somehow solve the problem – they, oh, clicked – and 'Alice' told everything,” the president retorted.
In this regard, the developer notes that the program only helps to find a solution.
“But she told everything,” Putin said.
With such AI assistants, the head of state emphasized, children “don't need to think”.
“How would you teach thinking if there was 'Alice'? Think about it and tell us all,” Mr. Putin concluded.
The 10th International Conference AI Journey (“Journey into the World of Artificial Intelligence”) takes place from November 19 to 21. Each of the three days is dedicated to artificial intelligence technologies in science, business and society.
