In Ingushetia, a child almost lost his arm after an injury in his home. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Health.

A one and a half year old boy was injured at home – his hand became entangled in a working household electrical appliance. The child was taken into the operating room, where doctors removed his arm from the device. Doctors discovered the patient had multiple contusions and lacerations, damage to the flexor and extensor tendons as well as broken bones.
During the three-hour operation, surgeons restored the extensor tendons and fixed the fractures in the fingers – the child's hand was completely saved. The boy's condition is currently stable, but he is still under the supervision of experts.
