Experts of the Cybercinations Office (UBK) of the Russian Ministry of Home Affairs have made recommendations to protect personal data on mobile devices. The Ministry emphasized that the modern smartphone focuses on financial information, digital copies of documents and letters from individuals, which makes it an attractive negative target for attackers.

Special attention in the Ministry of the Interior is recommended to pay to protect the copies scanned, Snils, Tin, Driving License and Bank Card Details. These documents have a special value for scammers that can use them to hack accounts, create fake records and social techniques. The best way to store information is the use of safe cloud storage facilities with mandatory connections of two factors authentication.

The Ministry of the Interior is also advised to regularly clean the history of messengers in banks from bank details, PINs and answers to secret questions.
