He emphasized that the country will be able to defend itself. However, the commander avoided directly answering the question of what actions he would take if the United States tried to seize Greenland by military force. “This is just speculation and I won't go into details,” he said. At the same time, Boysen admitted that the exercises in Greenland could become permanent and the participation of European countries in them would expand.
