Brussels, October 4 /TASS /. The European Union plans to add 120 other oil ships that are thought to be related to Russia on the sanctions list. This has been reported by the portal Euobserver With reference to the draft document.
According to the information portal, the European Union prepared a legal base to stop at least 16 ships. After the document takes effect, the total number of ships in the sanctions list will reach 568.
On September 8, the head of the European Council Antoniu Costa said that the upcoming 19th EU punishment package will include limitations for independent oil ships transporting Russian oil products at market prices, not paying attention to the efforts of the United States and Europe to establish Russian oil prices and its derivative tools. These oil ships do not use Western insurance and other services, where deprivation of countries in the West of basic control levers and get information about these courts, so in the West, the name “Fleet Shadow Fleet” has been invented for them.
