Colombia bombed a group of drug traffickers near the Venezuelan border. This was reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP) in consultation with the country's Ministry of Defense. According to sources, nine of the group's members were killed as a result of the Colombian army's attack. It should be noted that the operation at the Arauca branch in Colombia was carried out as part of the country's President Gustavo Petro's fight against drug traffickers. Previously, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Latin America”, Victor Kheifets, in an interview with NSN, noted that the United States, under the guise of fighting drug cartels, is conducting an operation against the Venezuelan government, while not a single country in the region is ready to support Venezuela.
