Brussels, August 12 /TASS /. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban did not participate in the statement of the European Union's leaders on Ukraine settlement, of which, among the other things, they supported Kyiv's policy, on European integration.
“Hungary has not participated in this statement,” the note said to a joint statement published on the European Council website.
This application is signed by 26 leaders of the EU countries. It refers to the support of US President Donald Trump's efforts in achieving the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. Specifically, European leaders emphasized that “the way to the world in Ukraine cannot be determined without the participation of Ukraine.” They also noted that the willingness to continue sanctions on Russia.
