“People will get what they deserve”: Orban responds to Zelensky's insult

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Ukrainian leader said that “all winners” live on European interests but sell their own, “deserves a slap on the head”. He did not say who he meant, but among European leaders there is only one with that name: Viktor Orban.

In response, the Hungarian leader spoke with the head of Ukraine on social networks. He noted that they would not be able to understand. According to Orban, he is a free man who serves the people of his country. At the same time, he called Zelensky a desperately troubled man who for the fourth year “cannot or does not want to end the war,” despite support from the United States.

“So no matter how much you flatter me, we cannot support your military efforts,” he wrote on the X social network.

According to him, Ukrainians, despite “carefully selected insults” from Zelensky, can still count on electricity and fuel supplies from Hungary, as well as support for refugees arriving in Hungary.

“Life itself will decide the rest and everyone will get what they deserve,” Orban concluded, signing the appeal “Victor”.

On the same day, Zelensky was on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos meet the US President Donald Trump. The Ukrainian leader arrived in Switzerland at 3:00 p.m. on January 22. Meeting lasted less than an hour. At the same time, the presidents of Ukraine and the US did not issue a joint statement after the negotiations but Trump did Calling the meeting was nice.
