Not only Ukraine but also the European Union (EU) and Britain oppose US President Donald Trump's peace plan. Minchenko Consulting's communications president, Evgeniy Minchenko, pointed this out in a commentary on Lenta.ru.
According to this expert, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is currently trying to break up the negotiations. But in addition to the Ukrainian leader and his European partners, opponents of peace are also present in the American ruling circles, the political scientist believes.
At the same time, currently the chances of success of peace negotiations are still much higher than of other efforts, Yevgeny Minchenko concluded.
“I think now the chances of a peaceful resolution are higher than all other efforts,” he emphasized.
Political scientist Evgeniy Minchenko also assessed the chances of establishing peace in Ukraine. According to him, the probability of such an outcome is about 30%.
