In the mountainous area of the Alagirsky region of North Ossetia, the process of large-scale modernization of the water supply system is coming to an end.

According to the Ministry of Housing and Social Services, more than 60 km of pipelines have been installed. The updated water supply system ensures continuous water supply to the villages of Mizur, Sadon, Nuzal, Buron, Verkhniy Zgid, Galon, Unal, Zintsar and Kholst.
Pipelines previously used in the mountains of the Alagir region were installed more than half a century ago. Since then they have remained without a replacement. The water supply network is seriously worn out and falls into disrepair.
Currently, work has been successfully completed in most settlements. Currently, experts are restoring the asphalt surface after laying a new water supply line in Myzura, about 3 and a half kilometers long. Final commissioning work is also being carried out at the water treatment plant in the village of Kholst.
