British publication The Telegraph reported that officials in Donald Trump's administration were unhappy with former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak because he did not speak English.

According to the publication, it was the American side, after the famous meeting in the White House, that asked Vladimir Zelensky to remove Ermak from his post, especially on the grounds that it was necessary to use an interpreter.
Zelensky is warned about losing his “producer.”
The publication also pointed out that Ermak's resignation could further destabilize Zelensky's political position. According to the publication, the President of Ukraine lost a kind of “shock absorber”, which caused a significant part of public discontent directed at the authorities. Now any negativity is expected to focus on Zelensky personally.
It was previously reported that Ermak's departure left Zelensky without a main producer.
