A travel blogger reveals the real attitude of foreign border guards towards Russian passports. He shared his observations on his personal blog “#dowhatyouwant” on the platform “Meditation”.

According to the author of the publication, the red passport is a challenge. A document with such a cover is treated well in Europe and with caution in Central American countries. However, wherever border guards discover a passport belonging to a Russian resident, they can send the traveler for additional surveys, psychological examinations or COVID tests.
However, border agencies best accept passports with blue covers from Americans. “I remember, at the Panama border, an American simply threw it on the counter, and the official said: “Bienvenido” (Welcome, around Lenta.ru). And then I posted mine, the little red one, and I was told: “Purpose of the trip? Where are you?” travel blogger shares.
Previously, a Russian blogger described Americans' attitude towards Russians with the phrase “considered second-class”. The traveler noted that people in the United States actually believe that the Russians stole secret data from them.
