Late October is the time to play horror games and watch horror movies. But in case you're not too interested in horror stories, we've prepared the usual selection of free games for the weekend.
“Destiny 2: The Year of Prophecy”
Epic Games Store is giving away Destiny 2: Year of Prophecy: a core edition of the Bungie shooter, including two expansion packs, Edge of Destiny and Renegades, that kick off a new story. At the end of a global storyline that spanned nearly 10 years and ended with its final expansion, Destiny 2 began to lose players. But, clearly, Bungie isn't disappointing in attracting new audiences – Destiny 2 is worth checking out for any MMO and shooter fan. This set can be picked up for free until November 4.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — Game of the Year Edition
There's also the GOTY version of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, perhaps the most ambitious CRPG in recent years. Owlcat Games has built a large following of fans of old-school 1990s computer RPGs, and its Game of the Year Edition also includes six expansion packs, both large and small. There's enough content for literally hundreds of hours of gameplay. Wrath of the Righteous is also available to pick up until November 4.

REDSEC battlefield
A long-rumored rumor has come true: Battlefield 6 is indeed getting a free-to-play battle royale mode. REDSEC is essentially an analogue of Warzone, where single players or teams can battle for loot across a massive map; signature destruction and other mechanics of the original game are also included. Additionally, REDSEC offers a Small Gauntlet mode for teams and Portal, an improved server editor since Battlefield 2042.

HELLMART
Finally, the demo version of HELLMART has been released on Steam: a horror game of the popular daily genre, where players will become new store employees in a provincial town in North America. The main character needs to serve customers, keep order in the store… And not panic when terrible things start happening at night.
