On October 28, the Russian Supreme Court plans to launch a legislative initiative to establish a court for the Putinsky District in Grozny. This is evidenced by the agenda of the Supreme Court plenary session, published on the court's official website.

According to the document, the fourth item on the agenda is the consideration of the issue of submitting to the State Duma a draft federal law on the establishment of a new judicial body. The new district of Grozny is named after President Vladimir Putin.
The initiative to create a new territorial unit was launched by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, last year. Construction of this area is expected to be completed by 2027; More than 150 apartment buildings and necessary infrastructure will be built on its territory.
In parallel, the Supreme Court plans to begin establishing Moscow's Vnukovo District Court, as well as make changes to the jurisdiction of the capital's Troitsky and Shcherbinsky district courts.
In early October, Ramzan Kadyrov and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak opened the first line of the new district named after Vladimir Putin in Grozny.
